Ways these Broncos together with their 'play-dough' QB could halt that Kansas City Chiefs' rule.

Week six of the 2025 NFL season
Real-time updates features live text for Sunday's games via various channels, beginning with the Broncos-Jets clash in London (kicking off at 2 PM BST). Also, radio commentary is available through select stations covering a separate game (from 21:00 BST).
It's week six in the football calendar , after recent discussion about two top teams being possible championship contenders, they both surrendered their perfect starts.
Notable in those games were the amount of infractions both committed. Philadelphia did so at crucial times meaning they kind of beat themselves having led by two touchdowns going into the final quarter against the Denver Broncos, who play overseas this weekend.
However it was positive to observe that Denver's QB the rookie managed to overcome that deficit before direct three scoring drives in three attempts in the fourth quarter, securing the game 21-17.
Denver boast the defensive player of the year with CB Pat Surtain II. They rank number one in red zone defence, while the Eagles lead the league in red zone offence, and Denver won that battle.
They had effective strategies regarding disguised blitzes. They did not necessarily rushing more than four pass rushers instead they might position two linebackers in the 'A' gap before withdrawing them and dispatch a nickel off the edge.
Early on in the campaign, it was noted on a program how Denver might emerge as the current year's surprise contenders. They finished the previous year strongly then did a good job of building upon that.
Are the Denver Broncos this season's underdog story?
New TE their tight end has stepped up big and new RB JK Dobbins is a guy the team trusts. He now ranks 5th league-wide for rushing yards (over 400) and tied-fourth for rushing touchdowns (4).
It's impressive that the coach Sean Payton displays "RUN IT!" at the top of his playcall sheet.
This demonstrates that Denver are a squad that wants to prioritize the run, because you can do a lot off the back of that. It slows opposing rushes while maintains in positive down and distances.
This has helped quarterback Bo Nix, who entered into the league as the 12th overall draft pick in the prior draft, passing for 29 touchdown passes – second only to a star QB in rookie records (31 back in 2020).
Josh Allen and Herbert have powerful arms to throw all over, but they lack in the same way as Nix. He boasts incredible passing ability, a unique trait, and he's so athletic.
His assets are his movement, being able to throw while moving, as well as finding different arm angles to make throws when he rolls outside protection, the bootlegs. He can throw precision throws across the middle or past defenders.
For a young quarterback, at 25, he displays a lot of poise under pressure and isn't really fazed by extra rushers. He aims to evade a sack whenever possible and is able throw under pressure. He has sharp intelligence and is quick to decide.
When you constantly rush it consumes the clock and makes the opponent to stay on the field for longer, and if you've got an athletic quarterback the defense has to defend the area downfield and horizontally. It can be draining.
Nix has bitten back with the coach during games at times and I think Payton appreciates that fire, that he's such a competitor. In my view it's fun for the coach to have a young quarterback that is kind of like moldable clay. He can really develop him how he desires to build it. I think it's a unique opportunity for the coach.
Payton has won a Super Bowl and now passed Bill Parcells for career NFL wins (173 - tied 14th overall). He has witnessed everything. I think the achievements the Broncos are experiencing offensively is mostly due to his leadership, his play-calling, his situational awareness – and the combination with the QB helps shape him into who he is.
You wouldn't want a more qualified person in your ear, to assist you during some of the tougher situations and build confidence.
I have faith in the Broncos' defense, in the QB's grit and calm. But are they good enough to face an elite team at its best? Since that wasn't a Super Bowl performance from Philadelphia last Sunday.
Right now, it's unlikely the Broncos are elite. They're performing better than most, that's a good place to hold the AFC West. The key is is maintain this path.
They excel at embracing their forte, which is running the ball, and that's exactly what they must do versus the Jets in London. It's going to be the JK Dobbins show, essentially.
The Jets have surrendered 140 rushing yards per game (among the worst), five ground scores so far (10th worst), and they're the only team without a win any game.
Ever since the NFL began tracking takeaways in 1933, this team are the first team to go without any turnovers in five outings, which is kind of shocking when you think that their new coach was previously a defensive coach at the Detroit Lions.
Patrick Mahomes stated the Chiefs are off to a poor start after Monday's defeat to Jacksonville.
Following this Sunday's game, Denver have a smooth-ish schedule up to their break (in week twelve) - the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, the Texans plus Las Vegas Raiders before the Kansas City Chiefs.
In the AFC West, the Chiefs are 2-3 and the Broncos are even with the Los Angeles Chargers at 3-2 meaning they could challenge at leading the West.
It depends upon what version of the Chiefs they face since the Broncos {beat|def
