Ultra-Conservative Ex- Lawmaker J.A. Kast Elected as Chile's Next Head of State.
Following a conclusive runoff election, ultra-conservative candidate José Antonio Kast has clinched the presidency in Chile.

With over 99% of polling stations reporting, Kast garnered 58.17% of the votes, overcoming leftist contender Jeannette Jara, who obtained 41.83%.
