The City of Angels witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Fans worldwide united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos show thousands of Los Angeles residents packing downtown streets, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
