Liverpool's Star Offers Regret to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones

Curtis Jones has revealed that Salah said sorry to the group of players in the wake of the uproar from his recent interview.

The Incident

The striker was dropped from a vital match after voicing frustrations and stating his relationship with manager had deteriorated.

ā€œSalah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,ā€ Jones revealed. ā€œHis apology was clear and was like: ā€˜If I’ve affected anybody, I'm sorry.ā€™ā€

The manager has chosen not to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the player.

Team Unity

He emphasized that the team's response remained positive. ā€œHe was his usual self, he had a big smile on his face and everybody was exactly the same with him,ā€ he continued.

Jones also noted that a competitor wanting to play is a positive trait. ā€œI get that there are specific approaches you can express yourself,ā€ he said. ā€œYet, should someone be happy to just not start, then I think that’s more of an issue.ā€

Team Form

Their results have remained strong in the period after the interview fallout. Jones believes the Salah's words were not intended to harm the team.

ā€œWhen there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a good place,ā€ he finished. ā€œIt's behind us and we’re building chemistry, performing and starting to win games.ā€
