Passionate followers of the actress are demanding that a man who leaped a barricade and touched the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared clip reveals the individual from Australia shoving aside media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the performers proceeded down a event pathway flanked by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being detained", though official papers showed that he was set to be present on the next day. It is not clear if he was charged.

History of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram account contains recordings of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney concert in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last December.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is clearly a legal violation," stated an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user questioned.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Grande's Well-being

Numerous supporters blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed dealing with PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented another response on Instagram.

A number of supporters also faulted guards at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while some requested digital services to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande looked shocked when she was grabbed by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.

Many of Singapore supporters had waited to see the actors of Wicked

Hundreds of supporters had assembled in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including a number who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The motion picture, to be launched on November 21, is the follow-up of a two-film interpretation of the popular Broadway and West End production Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected bond between two contrasting sorceresses.

The production itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a light pink glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of last year in the UK, and received 10 Oscar nominations, winning several for best costume and production design.
